Tricking A Friend for an FA Cup Ticket
The FA Cup has always been something that I love to attend. Whenever I can, I usually pick up a ticket and have a wild and fun time. This year, I ran into a few issues in picking up an FA Cup Ticket. I kept putting off picking up the FA Cup ticket and finally, when I did go down to the ticket vendor, I found out that all the tickets had been sold out. This made me depressed so I headed out to get a drink and wallow in my own sorrow. After the third beer, one of my buddies showed up and informed me that he had an extra FA Cup ticket. The problem was that he had already promised it to one of his other friends. He explained that he didn't really like him too much and was willing to sell the ticket to me. Problem was, I'd have to find a way to make sure that his buddy didn't want the ticket anymore.
The next night, we all hooked up over at my friends house. Sure enough the subject of the FA Cup ticket came up. I decided to take the opportunity to tell my buddy's friend that the FA Cup was totally not worth it, when there was another event going on that night. I told him that a great movie was opening the same night and a big movie star that he liked was going to be there signing autographs. By the end of the night, he was sold. He no longer wanted the FA Cup ticket and was going to go to the fictional movie that I made up. I felt a little bad, but I really wanted to see the FA Cup. We ended up going to the game and having a wild and crazy time. It was totally worth it. I haven't seen him again, but I think I'll have to apologize.
